What is Cause–effect graph?

Cause–effect graphing is a technique that provides a concise representation of logical conditions such as AND, OR, NOT and its corresponding actions.It maps a set of causes to a set of effects. The causes are the input to the program, and the effects are the output. Usually the graph shows the nodes representing the causes on the left side and the nodes representing the effects on the right side.
